Out of 400M tons of plastic wasteproduced annually, ONLY 9% is recycled, leaving the rest to degrade over hundreds of years. The resulting plastic pollution touches every ecosystem and every being on earth.

Microplastics are released from disposed plastics, and can be found everywhere from oceans, rivers, landfill, rain water, marine life habitat, and in the last years has been discovered in mothers’ breast milk.

Studies show we consume approximately FIVE GRAMS (a spoonful) of plastics on a weekly basis.
