After months of scouting, pitching, and testing, Biotic was selected as the Gold Medalist for its unique technology based on bacterial fermentation that produces fully biodegradable bioplastics.
FrieslandCampina Ingredients will closely support Biotic in scaling up this technology and exploring its industrial feasibility, marking a significant step in advancing circular and sustainable materials.
This recognition represents another milestone in our mission to turn organic waste into valuable resources and move toward a future where plastics are bio-based, renewable, and naturally degradable.
